Upgraded the raspberry pi to the new version 3, which is still a great value bit of kit for side projects.
I updated my process for installing MJPEG Streamer as well compiling from latest decent source.
#!/bin/bash # soup to nuts, mjpeg-streamer-experimental sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade -y sudo apt-get install -y libjpeg8-dev imagemagick build-essential git # cmake bits wget http://www.cmake.org/files/v3.2/cmake-3.2.3.tar.gz tar -xvf cmake-3.2.3.tar.gz cd cmake-3.2.3 ./configure sudo make install cd git clone https://github.com/jacksonliam/mjpg-streamer.git cd mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental make sudo make install cd mjpg_streamer -o "~/mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental/output_http.so - ~/mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental/www" -i "~/mjpg-streamer/mjpg-streamer-experimental/input_uvc.so -d /dev/video0 -f 25 -r 640x480"
Resultant webcam is (sometimes) here.
